PCL’s latest project to break ground in the Southwest Region is the Union Hills Water Treatment Plant, located in Phoenix. PCL is converting the existing interim dewatering building to a structure that will include a three-story centrifuge section, which will ultimately improve the efficiency of the solids-handling facility at the plant. Construction also includes the installation of new hydraulic sludge scrapers, modifications to the existing pretreatment outlet tower, and new slide gates.
