PRZOOM - /newswire/ - Taipei, Taiwan, 2016/07/18 - The ATEN Control System now offers greater flexibility with the addition of expansion boxes and Windows and Android support - ATEN.com.

ATEN, the leading provider of IT connectivity and management solutions, today announced that its control system will have two new features: serial expansion boxes and Windows and Android support.

The Control System’s expansion boxes provide extra port connections that can be used to meet the needs of larger and more complex environments. ATEN will firstly release a 4-Port Serial Expansion Box, the VK224, and follow this with an 8-Channel Relay and 6-Port IR/Serial Expansion Box by the end of year. The new expansion boxes will allow customers to match the exact requirements of any installation.

The ATEN Control System, unlike competing solutions, does not require the purchase of exclusive user panels. Instead, the control system can be managed through an intuitive app-based user interface on an iOS, Windows or Android device.

Released last year, the ATEN Control System has been well received by end customers and system integrators alike due to its simple and intuitive setup, deployment, and control. The ATEN Control System easily empowers individuals without a technical background to manage and control any device in a room. As a result, the ATEN solution lowers overheads by eliminating the costs associated with the additional manpower and training time of other control systems.

ATEN now also provides a driver download page so that users can seamlessly integrate a number of devices from various brands within their installation. This includes products from ATEN’s major partners BenQ, BXB, Lumens and Optoma.
