Themis RES servers feature Xeon E5-2600 v4 processors with up to twenty cores per socket and one TB DDR4 ECC memory. The new Xeon E5-2600 v4 processors enable Themis servers a twenty to thirty percent performance due to their combination of high processor frequency and high core count. The Broadwell update includes Themis’ standard and high-density servers, the RES-mini small form factor server, and GPGPU High Performance Computers.

RES-XR5 enhancements include more processing cores and an upgrade from Intel’s Haswell architecture to Broadwell. The combination of high frequency and high core count often brings cooling challenges. Themis RES servers provide industry-leading performance and superior resilience to shock, vibration, and temperature extremes. Designed for military, industrial, or rugged commercial use, the RES-XR5-1U server can be mounted in standard commercial racks or mobile rugged transit cases.
RES-XR5 servers feature expansion slots, extensive high-speed I/O, storage, and enhanced reliability options that provide users with configuration versatility and system expansion to meet current and future system requirements. Themis RES systems incorporate advanced thermal and mechanical design features that include dual-redundant, hot swappable AC and DC power supply options. The RES chassis design incorporates aluminum die cast front and rear panels, and strong, lightweight aluminum that improves system resistance to corrosion.
Themis RES servers are an attractive solution for programs where Size, Weight, and Power (SWAP) are essential considerations. RES servers can be mounted in standard commercial racks or mobile, rugged transit cases.
