Orlando, FL, United States, 2016/03/31 - PCL Construction Services, Inc. in Orlando has been awarded the Main Ticket Lobby Modifications project at Orlando International Airport.

Those traveling through Orlando International Airport will begin to notice many changes occurring in key areas of the airport. The multimillion-dollar terminal lobby modernization project requires PCL to relocate the airlines, renovate and improve each respective lobby, and return the airlines to their previous locations. The renovations to the main ticket lobbies include updated finishes, expanded lobby areas, new façade, upgraded ticket counters, new video walls, and new passenger amenities. The airport will maintain operations while all work is completed.

PCL has extensive experience in constructing and renovating airports, and this undertaking marks PCL’s ninth project at Orlando International Airport. PCL’s depth of experience with more than 100 aviation projects completed across North America includes the award-winning design-build of San Diego Airport’s Terminal 2 West Building/Airside Expansion project. Ticket lobby modification construction at Orlando International Airport is scheduled to start in July 2016 and be complete in December 2017.
