The Infusion Nurses Society (INS) has enhanced and updated its hallmark resource, Infusion Therapy Standards of Practice, to include vascular visualization as a standard practice. The INS Standards cite not only that vascular visualization be employed but also that clinicians be competent in the use of the technology. AccuVein’s non-contact projection technology is a one-click solution that is easy for clinicians and can facilitate compliance with these criteria.
