As a result of positive evaluation of samples, and validation of superior imaging quality, trials have successfully progressed to the next phase. Customer specific modules have been manufactured and the potential customers have enabled on site integration to commence with their application software. We expect these activities to lead to mobile device design wins.

IDEX has enabled our fingerprint sensor software to operate with third party enrollment and matching software, to increase customer options and maximizing go to market solutions for our new sensors. IDEX already deploys several algorithm solutions to cover multiple applications. This strategy enables a wider product portfolio and supports increased customer sales activity with our channel partners.

IDEX’s next generation fingerprint sensor polymer technology has a compelling price/performance and customizable form factor benefits. IDEX announced the first production order for our new touch sensor on September 21, and this sensor is now in production through our high volume supply chain.

IDEX has also made excellent progress with demonstrating our unique inside glass sensor technology with our undisclosed partner. The inside glass solution provides a compelling sleek and durable design with no loss of imaging quality, leveraging the same next generation sensor technology. IDEX believes this addresses mobile customer demands for sensors to be seamlessly integrated on the front of phone in the cover glass.
