The new icadgroup.com includes a variety of new features including a new investor section, device response layout, new contact forms and e-newsletter sign up, and a stylish, full screen design, which is easier-to-navigate and uses area photography and recent rankings to convey the extraordinary opportunities of our area.
Eric Hanson, ICAD Group’s Communications Director, says as workforce and the economic landscape have evolved, the website needed to keep up with these demands. “To stay competitive with other economic development agencies across the country, we needed a website that still contained site location and workforce data, but did a better job showing what makes our area so unique,” said Hanson. “There’s so much going on in our area right now; it’s a fun story to tell.”
Hanson pointed out that the News section remains one of the most popular pages on the website and stories are still distributed to ICAD Group’s social media pages. With the new website, users can now share stories to their own fans, friends and followers.
Kate Moreland, ICAD Group Director of Collaboration and Community Relations, says the new investor section also helps engage a broader audience than ever before. “Having a specific investor section was an important aspect that was missing on our old website,” said Moreland. “Investors can now stay up to date with our events and activity and sign up for our newsletter. We also provide a list and links to our investors for anyone using our site.”
Support and supplemental funding for the website project was provided by MidAmerican Energy and Alliant Energy. The site was designed and programmed by Spinutech.
