CPA Global, the world’s leading provider of intellectual property (IP) management services and software, will host the Mid-Atlantic Forum: Innovating IP Management on April 2 at the Four Seasons Hotel, Washington DC.
This key industry forum brings together IP thought leaders to discuss current IP management challenges as well as best practices in increasing efficiency, reducing risk, and lowering costs; which enable IP professionals to develop more effective IP management strategies, while working with limited budgets and resources.
Patrick G. Burns, Founding Shareholder at Chicago-based law firm Greer, Burns & Crain, and Karl Renner, Principal in the Washington, DC office of Fish & Richardson P.C. and co-chair of the firm’s Post-Grant Practice Group, will host a panel discussion on designing patent strategies to promote cost savings.
This will be followed by another panel discussion, led by Kim Zerby, Director and Associate General Counsel Innovation at Procter & Gamble, and Chris Sale, Firm Administrator at Lowe Hauptman & Ham, LLP, on utilising resources and technology to drive innovation in IP management and gain a competitive advantage.
Bruce Kisliuk, USPTO Deputy Commissioner for Patent Administration, will deliver the keynote address, outlining the agency’s major initiatives for 2015 and providing important insights on the outlook for IP.
