The strategically compiled agenda and speaker list offers a diverse range of topics for delegates to choose from, centered around the conference them "Putting the Pieces Together", which refers to the honing in on the correct combination and sequence of employee and management practices that will unlock an organization's Lean potential. Over the course of the two day event, a range of can't be missed sessions will be delivered by the Lean community's leading minds and practitioners.
Worldwide Lean authority Norman Bodek is best known for introducing Lean to U.S. Manufacturing in the1980 and has published 25 books on management and written five, including The Harada Method. Perhaps the ultimate recipe for competing against low-cost labor in other parts of the world, The Harada Method is recognized as one of the most systematic ways to enhance employee development. Norm will share how The Harada Method is an essential component in any Lean journey.
A strong proponent of Lean manufacturing principles, Dan Ariens is an award-winning manufacturing executive. As President and CEO at Ariens Company, he has created a culture of continuous improvement that has resulted in the creation of world-class manufacturing facilities by all Lean standards.
Joining Norm and Dan are Mike Rother, author of the Lean landmark books Learning to See and Toyota Kata; and Alan Robinson, author of Ideas Are Free and The Idea Driven Organization.

Registration is now open for the Conference which will be hosted by The Mass Mutual Center in Springfield MA on September 29 and 30, 2015. The event, organized by GBMP, is the largest for Lean implementers from the manufacturing and healthcare sectors in the Northeast United States, attracting nearly 600 attendees who come together for two days of networking, benchmarking and professional development.
