Bitdefender, creator of innovative antivirus software solutions, and Denmark-based Chili Security have formed an alliance that will see Chili Security adopting Bitdefender’s leading security software as its core product as it prepares a major international expansion.
Chili Security, which saw rapid growth in the Danish market last year, will establish sales offices in 20 countries simultaneously in February using exclusively rebranded Bitdefender security products for PCs, Macs and Android devices as well as business solutions.
As major data losses, high-profile viruses and alleged cases of mass spying raise awareness of internet security around Europe and the world, Chili Security will use Bitdefender’s #1-ranked technology to debut in the markets of the UK, Spain, Germany, the US, Russia, Italy and at least 14 other countries.
“We know Bitdefender has the best products in the world, both in terms of security and in terms of usability, which is another key factor for us and our sales staff,” said Chili Security Chief Executive Officer Martin Larsen. “Experience has shown that our sales and marketing abilities are world-class, so we believe we have a perfect match. By rebranding Bitdefender’s products, we have been able to grow at a much faster pace than would have otherwise been possible.”
