NGB Corporation, Japan’s leading full-service intellectual property (IP) company, and international IP management specialist CPA Global have reaffirmed their long-standing IP services partnership.
Marking the 40th anniversary of their successful collaboration, the two companies pledged their ongoing commitment to working together to serve Japanese clients seeking IP support in international markets and overseas companies requiring IP services in Japan.
Representing many of Japan’s and the world’s most influential companies, NGB Corporation (NGB) provides a full range of support services across the IP lifecycle, including prosecution, litigation, renewals, and the sale or licensing of IP assets. Founded in Tokyo in November 1959, NGB signed an agreement with CPA Global in December 1974 for the Jersey-based company to provide annuity services (initially patent renewals, extending later to include trademark renewals too) for NGB’s Japanese clients in international markets. Over the years, the strategic partnership has expanded to cover a broader range of outbound and inbound IP services.
