Elmo Motion Control, a leading provider of advanced motion control solutions, will exhibit its flagship Gold Twitter, the smallest, high-power servo drive on the market today at IAS 2014, Industrial Automation Show, Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), Hall W1, Booth #C001, November 4-8, 2014.
Weighing just 18 grams (less than 1 ounce), and less than 13 cm3 in volume, the Gold Twitter delivers up to 4,000W of qualitative power, ultra high current of 50A/100V with advanced servo capabilities and support for EtherCAT or CANopen fieldbus communication standards.
Elmo's advanced series of Gold Line servo drives will be exhibited at IAS. These servo drives are resilient and designed to deliver the highest density of power up to 65 kW of outstanding performance. With a rich selection of features: intelligent motion functions (OC, Master-Slave Follower, Modulo, Dynamic Braking, ECAM, PIP Cascaded Vector Control); DS-402 profile modes (cyclic position, velocity and current); ability to handle any well-known feedback; available with TTL, PLC Source of PLC Sink Digital input/output options, analog input; supports EtherCAT or CANopen communication; 1D/2D/3D error correction; STO safety standard compliance; UL and IEC 61800 certification to 800 VDC and 530 VAC.
The Gold Duet, an integrated drive-motor solution, power range of 50W-2kW will also be on display. The Gold Duet eliminates electrical cabinets and is fully integrated incorporating a servo motor with an intelligent Elmo Gold Servo drive supporting EtherCAT communication and providing plug-and-play capabilities. It minimizes wiring, eliminates EMI, and reduces installation and maintenance costs. The system is STO certified and available in a full range of flange sizes and power ranges.
Elmo recently released its free advanced online EASII Remote Practice System - RPS providing users with the ability to remotely practice servo control and multi-axis solutions. It allows the user to tune, program, and configure a complete system online with no need to purchase or install any hardware or operating system.
Recently, Elmo's solutions have been successfully implemented in numerous Chinese companies applications requiring fast servo response and very high precision technology. Several examples of the main applications are: semiconductor, electronic production, unmanned vehicles and defense, and many others, due to the fact that Elmo is active in most industry segments.
The company has been providing excellent and reliable motion control solutions for over 25 years resulting in satisfied customers that continuously choose Elmo.
