This week at the SCTC Fall Conference in San Diego, Applied Voice & Speech Technologies, Inc. (AVST) will discuss the disruptive forces transforming the Unified Communications (UC) market. At the event, AVST President & CEO Hardy Myers will provide leading technology professionals with insights into the shifting UC marketplace to help them develop a roadmap for the future.
Myers will present on the disruptive forces that are creating tectonic shifts in the UC market. He will explore the dynamic UC landscape, including emerging entrants and the growing presence of both Microsoft® Lync® and cloud technologies. Myers will also discuss how to easily facilitate the migration to Lync as a call control (PBX) replacement.
In anticipation of the widespread adoption of Lync as a PBX replacement, AVST recently introduced its new Lync IP integration to enable and augment Lync's core voice capabilities with its industry-leading interoperability and best-of-breed, mission-critical voice applications. This integration creates an easy migration path for enterprises looking to transition their legacy PBX infrastructure to Lync and centralizes voice applications across multiple locations in an evolving PBX environment.
"Over the last three decades, more than 20 million users have relied on our mobile, voice and business process UC applications," said Denny Michael, AVST Vice President of Marketing. "Our success over the years is in large part due to our highly valued ecosystem of consultants and resellers. Educational gatherings like the SCTC Conference provide us with an ideal forum for networking with these consultants and sharing UC customer experiences."
