PAYD PRO, Canada’s first and only smartphone-based mobile point-of-sale solution (“mPOS”) in Canada to accept both Interac® Debit and credit card payments, will be available on Android Operating System beginning mid-September. Moneris Solutions Corporation (“Moneris”), Canada’s largest credit and debit card processor, plans to introduce additional features for PAYD PRO in the fourth quarter of 2014 including a tip/gratuity feature, E-mail receipting, and the ability to tie multiple users to one account.
PAYD PRO is the only payment solution in Canada that accepts both Interac Debit and credit card payments and is the first mPOS product to include EMV® Chip & PIN and contactless payment technology. Moneris continues to commit resources into the development of new PAYD PRO features and add-ons.
