FSSC 22000 represents a comprehensive approach to food safety risk management throughout the supply chain.

The Foundation for Food Safety Certification extended the certification scope of FSSC 22000 with Packaging Material Manufacturing in line with the recent publication of PAS 223, the prerequisite programme and design requirements for food safety in the manufacture and provision of food packaging.
