Beta LaserMike, a leading global provider of precision measurement and control solutions, is set to showcase several new offerings from its product lineup at this year’s Wire & Cable India conference and exhibition in Mumbai (Oct. 28-30). The new AccuScan 5000 Series dual-axis gauges provide the highest single-scan performance in the industry for the most reliable diameter and ovality measurements. The AccuScan 5000 Series performs ultra-fast measurements at 2400 scans per second per axis and delivers the utmost accuracy per scan with single-scan repeatability down to 1 micron. The new AccuScan 5000 Series effectively monitors unique shapes and profiles for faster process control and catches flaws faster with high-speed tolerance checking. This gauge easily connects to PC, PLC, or processes using leading protocols and measures diameters up to 80 mm.
The new DCM SCS-700 LAN/Data cable testing system efficiently tests Cat 5e/6/6a cables to 700 MHz and offers a low-frequency option to test cables down to 100 Hz. Dual-frequency testing can be performed with a single connection to significantly reduce set-up and testing time. The DCM SCS-700 is engineered with an automated 4-pair switching platform, enabling you to perform cable testing in less than 3 minutes. And, this system includes easy-to-use testing software with complete test management and reporting capabilities. Beta LaserMike will also be displaying its AccuScan 4012 single-axis diameter gauge. This compact gauge is highly accurate and enables you to measure product diameters up to 12 mm. The AccuScan 4012 integrates Digital Signal Processing and intelligence for outstanding measurement repeatability and it supports a range of communication protocols. Its durable, low-maintenance design enables the gauge to reliably operate in a wide variety of demanding industrial applications.
In addition, Beta LaserMike (betalasermike.com) will be exhibiting its CenterScan 2010 gauge to accurately and reliably measure the insulation diameter and conductor eccentricity of wire and cable. This gauge is engineered with a unique set of features to help manufacturers maximize product quality and reduce production scrap.
