The Military and Aerospace Manufacturing Division of Reading, Pennsylvania defense contractor, Fidelity Technologies Corporation, has been awarded another five year contract to manufacture Power Distribution Illumination Systems, Electrical (PDISE) for the U.S. Army.
In 2008, Fidelity was first awarded the PDISE contract through competitive government procurement, and since then, more than 23,000 systems have been manufactured and delivered. The PDISE product line consists of 200Amp and 100Amp feeder systems, 60Amp and 40Amp distribution systems, an accessory kit containing lights and power receptacles for point of use connections and cables to enable the configuration of the network. As the Army’s principal means of distributing electrical power from mobile generators to the point of use, PDISE provides safe and reliable, quick to assemble, modular designed distribution equipment so electricity can be accessed in any part of the world and under any circumstances.
David Gulati, President of Fidelity, comments,“To be able to continue this contract for another five years solidifies Fidelity’s position as a premier supplier of quality, reliable and cost competitive power generation and distribution equipment, making it possible for soldiers to safely operate electrical devices in the field.”
Military and Aerospace General Manager, Bob Lesko, views the recent win as a testament to the hard work and dedication of Fidelity’s manufacturing associates and professional staff, and their true passion for customer satisfaction, continuous improvement and operational excellence. Together, we are committed to providing safe, reliable power for the warfighter, and we will continue to work together to do so in the years to come.” The program will be executed in Fidelity’s headquarters in Reading, Pennsylvania.
