The international management consultancy Barkawi Management Consultants supports the Service & Logistics Summit for the seventh time in a row. The event, which has established itself as a forum for experts on service topics, will take place on the 13th and 14th of May close to Frankfurt/Main. "The importance of the entire aftersales-process associated with the willingness to offer clients the best possible support remains consistently high, especially as this business sector is in general very profitable," explains Andreas Baader, managing partner of the consultancy, who will be holding the keynote during the summit.
Other speakers come from BMW, Lufthansa Technik, Knorr-Bremse, DMG MORI, Oerlikon, Philips Healthcare, ABB, Siemens, Rohde & Schwarz and AGCO, among others. Jörg Asbrand, Vice President Purchasing at Lufthansa Technik, will describe how to ensure reliability and availability of aircraft fleets while outlining parallels and differences to other industries. Bosco Novak, Vice President Services at Rohde & Schwarz, will explain how to successfully manage the transformation of a product-related company into a strategic service supplier.
"Thanks to the commitment of Barkawi, we have been able to attract high-profile speakers who can provide accurate information on the highly diverse aspects of service businesses within their own companies," says ISLA-Chairman Kraft Schumann.
The executives from sales, service and logistics will discuss the various chances the service business offers, but also consider the risks through increasing digitalization, networking of factories, new business models and other recent influences. The anglophone conference will be hosted by the International Service Logistics Association (ISLA e.V.) at the Kempinski-Hotel Gravenbruch located near Frankfurt/Main. Anyone interested can obtain the full event program and register for participation at servicelogistics.info, as long as there are places available.
