Applied Voice & Speech Technologies, Inc. (AVST), a leading provider of best of breed Unified Communications (UC) applications, will be on hand this week at Enterprise Connect to inform show attendees that the key to successful UC deployments is interoperability. Located in Booth #1405 at Enterprise Connect in Orlando, Florida, AVST will spotlight how CX-E can unify communications across any multi-vendor UC landscape.
Also at Enterprise Connect, AVST CTO Tom Minifie will discuss the next generation of virtual personal assistants in his presentation titled,"The Evolution of the Personal Assistant" today, March 17th from 3:00-3:45 pm. in Sun Ballroom C. In his presentation, Minifie will explore how the surge of smart mobile devices, coupled with a growing Millennials workforce, is projected to accelerate the adoption of personal assistants for business users.
With the belief that interoperability is paramount to the success of any UC deployment, AVST designed its CX-E UC platform from the ground up to support the collection of technologies from multiple vendors that comprise enterprise communications landscapes today. "We set out more than 30 years ago to design a solution that delivers UC applications that make users more connected, efficient and productive on a platform that compliments any existing network," said Minifie.
CX-E's productivity enhancing UC applications include: unified messaging; speech recognition; context-aware personal assistant; mobile client; automated attendant; call processing; voicemail; fax; notification and other business process integration capabilities.
"Enterprise Connect is the perfect forum for cutting-edge companies deciding on the best approaches to Unified Communications for their business. AVST has been a strong supporter of this event for the last nine years and we look forward to discussing with show attendees new ways to implement their future communications strategies," said Denny Michael, AVST Vice President of Marketing.
At the show, Enterprise Connect attendees are encouraged to visit AVST's booth (Booth #1405) for a chance to win one of three Apple iPad® Air® tablets being awarded during the event.
About AVST
The typical enterprise communications infrastructure is made up of a collection of technologies from multiple vendors, acquired over time and never intended to work together. To maximize user and business productivity, while leveraging existing IT investments, interoperability is a must.
AVST (avst.com) delivers the industry's most interoperable Unified Communications (UC) platform that brings best-of-breed voice, mobility and business process solutions to the enterprise. Unlike virtually every other UC vendor, AVST does not constrain customers with a single vendor lock-in approach. In fact, it's the very opposite. By connecting new and existing technologies, AVST frees organizations from the constraints of a closed, single-source UC solution, unlocking the full potential of their communications infrastructure.
With over 15 million users worldwide and three decades of innovation excellence, AVST is unifying communications®.
Headquartered in Orange County, California, AVST maintains facilities in Seattle, Washington, Victoria B.C., Canada and the United Kingdom and has remote sales offices throughout the United States. AVST's UC solutions are sold and supported worldwide by an extensive network of resellers and OEM partners.
