The company was previously honored in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013.
The Ohio SHRM State Council and the Best Companies Group create the annual list. The statewide survey and awards program is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Ohio, benefiting the state’s economy, its workforce and business.
The award was based on a two-part survey process. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second survey, the Employee Engagement & Satisfaction Survey, consisted of approximately 78 statements that employees respond to on a five-point agreement scale. The survey also included two open-ended questions.
The results were analyzed and categorized according to eight core focus areas: Leadership and Planning, Corporate Culture and Communications, Role Satisfaction, Work Environment, Relationship with Supervisor, Training and Development, Pay and Benefits and Overall Engagement.
