Today, businesses face new challenges as the volume of available data from diverse sources and systems quickly outpaces their ability to process it intelligently. From 10 14 March, at Stand C18 in Hall 5 of CeBIT, abas will present ERP tools small and midsize businesses can leverage to process today’s data volumes and simplify daily operations.
abas uses a deep integration of applications such as BI, DMS or PLM in the ERP solution’s business processes to provide significant information advantages in all areas. When combined with tailored workstations created using abas Business Apps, mobile solutions, and the web client, these advantages become simplified tasks and increased productivity.
User-oriented display of relevant data with abas Business Apps
Businesses that can intelligently analyze large data volumes and provide tailored information for their individual departments are a step ahead of the rest. abas Business Apps incorporate data from diverse sources and display it according to user roles. Managing pending tasks is centralized, further increasing efficiency. abas (abas-software.com) offers many pre-configured Business Apps as part of the standard release, including for product, vendor and customer files, which can be used as building blocks to create larger applications.
Genuine ergonomics: The new abas web client
The new abas web client provides browser-independent access to abas from anywhere without requiring additional software. It runs as a rich client in the browser and offers all the comfort of a desktop application. Extensive user tests were the foundation for developing the new usability concept, which facilitates intuitive operation of abas Business Suite. Users can immediately identify pertinent information in the crisp, highly modifiable interface.
The web client enables quick transitions between users or companies, in a single interface, and is easily configured by customers and implementation partners using a screen editor. As with the Business Apps, the web technology can be used to collect and display additional information from various sources, for instance ERP, DMS or BI, in a single interface.
