Heard the one about the businessman who walked into an office and left with his own advertising business?
That might sound like the unlikely start to a bad joke, but this actually happened and has led to a partnership between Amscreen Digital Solutions and Romanian company Primex G&C, which both sides are pleased to announce today. The project will see a network of digital screens deployed across petrol forecourts across Romania, which will be used to promote National, Regional and Local adverts alongside the company's Autovolo car sales offering.
The story started with a chance visit from Primex's entrepreneurial owner Stefan Voloseniuc to Amscreen's Bolton offices in October 2013. Anticipating just an initial discussion on the possibility of setting up his own network, Mr Voloseniu was so impressed with how easily-deployed the screens are that he headed back to Romania with some initial hardware. The full network of screens was then deployed to 85 locations within eight weeks, demonstrating the quick and scalable solution Amscreen are able to offer.
Mr Voloseniuc commented “We are very pleased with the speed of rollout from Amscreen: from initial meeting to deploying the screens across all 85 petrol stations. The screens will offer our Autovolo customers a new medium for reaching potential buyers the ability to specifically target geographic locations will help our customers sell their motors quicker and easier, and also allow advertisers to specifically target audiences throughout the country”.
Simon Sugar CEO of Amscreen said "As an entrepreneurial company ourselves, we found a kindredsprit in Stefan and Primex. This has enabled them to go from 0 85 screens and an audience of over three million a month in just eight weeks, which proves just how quickly and simply our digital solutions can be deployed. "
Autovolo, which is similar to Autotrader in the UK, allows sellers to pay a small premium enabling their advert to be displayed on the full HD LCD digital screens in up to 85 Lukoil petrol stations across Romania, enabling them to reach a much wider and targeted audience.
The Primlink network, is now available across Romania, delivering a national audience of over 100,000 people per day and over 3.5 million viewers per month. There will be opportunities for organisations to display adverts on the network of screens to target this wide audience. The unique technology in the Amscreen digital screens will enable organisations to target their adverts at specific geographic locations, to a single screen or multiple screens and even at specific times of day.
Amscreen digital screens offer simple plug & play technology meaning there is no disruption to business operations upon installation; screens operate over mobile phone networks and do not require any WiFi or existing IT infrastructure at all. Screens function worldwide and can be controlled from any connected computer in any country allowing complete control of all content at all times.
Amscreen, which has over 6,500 digital screens worldwide and works with companies such as Tesco, BP, Halifax and WH Smith, can offer digital signage to organisations looking to reach both customers and employees with engaging, dynamic content.
