AURA Equipements signs a technological and commercial partnership with K2, a software solutions editor for modeling, automation and optimization of business processes. Thanks to this agreement, the designers of workflow applications built with the K2 platform will be allowed to integrate natively data from DB2 databases on IBMi environments (AS/400), and to update it bidirectionally.
For 30 years, AURA Equipements develops and markets software solutions for accessing and exploiting the IBMi - AS/400 resources, without being an expert in this field. Following the partnership agreement, the two editors developed jointly a new connector: it will allow K2 customers to natively integrate data from DB2 databases on IBMi to the management process applications performed with K2 blackpearl, through simple drag and drop. Based on the Easycom middleware, it gives a personalized and remote access, while respecting the safety rules of System i.
Armed with this first collaboration, the two companies plan to provide future joint solutions for production processes of Office and PDF documents.
