Career Step, an online school offering career-focused education, is pleased to announce the release of its new Electronic Health Records Office Professional training program. This new course is designed to prepare students for the specialized administrative positions created by the healthcare industry’s shift to electronic health records.

The Career Step Electronic Health Records Office Professional program prepares students to work in various healthcare facilities overseeing their electronic health records as well as general medical office administration. Students will graduate with over 20 hours of hands-on training and experience on ezEMRx software, an industry-standard, government-certified EHR software platform. This experience will give students a competitive advantage in the job market and reduce the time they have to spend in on-the-job training once they are hired. Students will also graduate prepared to sit for the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant and Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist certification exams offered by the National Healthcareer Association.
