Crescent Guardian Inc, a full service national security firm, has selected United States Army veteran and safety expert Marcus J. Pierre as its new Chief Operations Officer. Pierre, who regards security and safety as a lifelong passion, will head the company’s new Dallas office as it expands to meet increasing security needs from across the region. The selection of Pierre to Crescent Guardian’s frontline staff brings invaluable experience to Dallas in defending against modern and emerging security threats.
Crescent Guardian’s expansion in Dallas is said to reflect rising demand for security services, especially the latest industry advances, from entities across the area. Dallas-Forth Worth, the largest metropolitan area in the South, is home to eighteen Fortune 500 companies as of 2013 and has become a vital asset to the nation’s economy.
As a “comprehensive security firm” that also performs one of most the rigorous security assessments in the industry, Crescent Guardian selected Pierre to ensure clients in the Dallas area are armed with the experience that can protect them not only from traditional threats, such as vandalism and theft, but also from unthinkable ones, like terrorism and mass shootings.

Marcus J. Pierre, who has over 20 years of experience in the industry of private security, security consulting, and the United States Military, served in OIF/OEF (Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation Enduring Freedom) as a Company Commander and Safety Officer. He has training in Six Sigma and Total Quality Management (TQM), a leadership and vision program designed to help directors reduce cost, increase performance and gain higher reliability for clients.
Pierre, who is proficient in risk management and security training, holds a Bachelor of Science, and Bachelor of Arts degrees from Texas Christian University and Campbell University respectively. He’s currently a candidate for a Master of Business Administration degree.
