Serco Inc., a provider of professional, technology, and management services, announced today that the Company has been awarded one of the prime positions on the new Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS), Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions II (EAGLE II) contract. The indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract will support the information technology (IT) requirements of DHS in protecting the United States borders against terrorism and other hazards. The contract vehicle has a maximum contract value of $22 billion over a seven year period, including one 5-year base period and one 2-year option period.
Serco was selected as one of 15 companies who will compete for work under the unrestricted track Service Delivery functional category (FC1), that provides a full range of IT services, including system design, development, implementation and integration; software design and development; and Operations and Maintenance (O&M). The solutions provided on the contract will enable DHS to accomplish their world-wide IT mission objectives.
