GAZ Group is the leading Russian automobile manufacturer and the carmaker. GAZ actively collaborates with European carmakers. A project on contract car manufacturing at the facilities of Gorky Automobile Plant in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia is among industrial partnership programs. To arrange production data exchange with the European partner GAZ needed reliable system adapted to the industry requirements. Thus, business Integration Server (BIS) 6 Express Automotive profile by Seeburger was chosen. Implementation of solution which fully complies with the automobile industry standards was committed to the German-Russian consulting company assino, Seeburger exclusive partner in Russia.
To secure customer’s data assino used encrypted channel OFTP2 with OSCAR certificate (Odette-Standards). This International safety certificate was designed to provide secure data exchange between industry partners. At this stage of the project assino ensured coordination between experts in Russia (GAZ Group), Europe (GAZ partner) and Great Britain (Odette Oscar).
At the final project stage assino delivered the system documentation in Russian and conducted personnel training. GAZ specialists in their turn launched the system and automated received data procession.
