Resolver is pleased to announce the latest release of its flagship GRC Cloud application suite. Resolver launched their GRC Cloud software in August 2013 to retail clients all over the world. The GRC software is designed to enable organizations to enhance the effective management of their business through efficient management of regulatory compliance, internal audit, risk identification and assessment, control evaluation, testing, attestation and reporting for all areas of corporate governance, risk and compliance.
A number of features have been added to support Resolver’s strategy of simplifying the GRC experience: Workflow Orchestration, Improved Function Calculation, Reporting Upgrades and increased Administration capabilities. Each area has improved significantly with a variety of features and improvements.
In order to provide maximum usability and the most intuitive means of configuring today’s sophisticated workflows; the new release of GRC Cloud 7.1 incorporates the concept of Workflow Orchestration. Working cohesively together as one, workflows send and receive messages to each other ensuring all GRC activities are aligned and focused on achieving an organization’s overall objectives. “The latest release of GRC Cloud is a big step forward for the software. GRC Cloud 7.1 has introduced a new auto calculate function that allows users to conveniently modify a specific value triggering a function to be recalculated. This latest function provides all users with reduced manual calculations providing the most up to date data. Building on this super slick interface, 7.1 provides a manual recalculate function in editable reports. This streamlined approach allows users to remain in the reports page and have data updated manually, creating improved report accuracy and a more advanced reporting system.
An additional reporting enhancement in 7.1 includes is a fixed header reporting option providing users with a better understanding of the report that they are viewing. The fixed headers function provides users with a reference in the column header of the data being reviewed.
User’s tasked with administrator roles will greatly appreciate the User Impersonation function new to GRC Cloud. Administrators are now able to verify site configuration for user permissions, workflow and reports. Version 7.1 allows administrators to complete a permission assessment on another user’s behalf.
A number of other enhancements and new features have also been added including:
- the separation of the add/delete permission for files and items;
- an increase in file size upload;
- single Sign on for Hosted Clients;
- additional performance improvements.
All this new functionality and more is now available to all Resolver clients.
