Clearwater, FL, United States, 2013/08/26 - After a successful 18 year tenure with Star Trac, fitness industry veteran John Sweeney has joined HydroMassage as Vice President of Commercial Sales - HydroMassage.com.

Sweeney, whose most recent roles with Star Trac included Regional Sales Director and VP of North American Sales, brings a strong track record of success to HydroMassage as the company continues to focus on growth in the fitness industry.

"We've been really fortunate to experience a period of remarkable growth in fitness, posting a 165% increase in unit sales from 2011 to 2012. The uptick in HydroMassage sales is primarily attributed to an increase in average units per order, as clubs that had previously purchased one or two beds are opting to showcase HydroMassage Zones with three, four, or five HydroMassage beds per location. To offset downward pressure on membership dues, HydroMassage is primarily being utilized to increase conversions for higher priced, premium membership packages.
As VP of Commercial Sales for HydroMassage, John will focus on adding new talent to the sales team in addition to increasing sales to key accounts.
