Hieroglifs Translations became “more international”: the translation company opened a new center in Southampton, Great Britain. Seven years have passed since the establishment of the first Hieroglifs Translation center in Latvia. The British branch will provide the company with a closer relationship with UK translators now that Hieroglifs Translations is established there. As a result, the new institute will network with British interpreting and translation associations. For Hieroglifs translations, this cooperation will enhance the skills of the whole company in translating British English. This is a great opportunity to broaden our knowledge of the language itself, always in line with the usual Hieroglifs translations style. It is also a way to access new business for the agency’s customers. One of the main characteristics of the company is to target customers taking into consideration the communication field as a whole and using languages as a vehicle to reach different markets and clients. That's why recently the agency organized a conference with the communication guru Allen Pease in Bulgaria and supported Robin Sharma's conference, a world-leading advisor, famous as the author of the bestselling book ‘’The Leader Who Had No Title’. These are two communication leaders who are able to teach people to strengthen their capacity to share information and be successful.
Hieroglifs Translations is able to combine healthy profits with dedicating time to nonprofit activities. In 2012, for the second consecutive year Hieroglifs translations was issued a certificate as the top translation company in terms of profits in the Bucharest area, by Listafirme.ro. The site is an online data base which lists over 900,000 Romanian companies. Data included for each company is the most recent available and is collected from websites, publications, catalogues, the Official Gazette of Romania, the Registry of Commerce, the Ministry of Finance, the Portal of the Ministry of Justice, the Insolvency Bulletin, and similar sources. In recent years Hieroglifs has broadened its customer portfolio, including new industries and new fields like technology. Since its inauguration Hieroglifs translations has been involved in the sphere of information technology and last year the company attended the Bucharest International Technical Fair (17-20 October, 2012) and the International Technical Fair, which is amongst the best-known Bulgarian forums of investment solutions and technological innovation.
In the meantime, Hieroglifs aims to support nonprofit institutes, like the Policy Center for Roma Minorities, with whom Hieroglifs entered into a partnership in late 2012. Gianluca Falco -the Director of Hieroglifs Translations Romania introduced charity activities, such as basketball matches, targeting disadvantaged children in order to inspire them with the importance of teamwork, one of the most crucial skills to solve their difficulties. The hope of the company is that Hieroglifs new UK office will be able to achieve new and challenging aims, as the Romanian and Latvian centers have done for years.
