AppyHand has launched AR Bearing Compass Android application on Google Play.
AR Bearing Compass includes a baseplate compass (aka orienteering compass) and a bearing compass featuring Augmented Reality technology in a single application.
Users measure and take snapshots of headings on paper or digital maps with the baseplate compass mode and then head towards the right direction using the Augmented Reality Heads-Up overlay of the bearing compass mode.
Alternatively, they can measure and take snapshots of headings in the field and then check on a paper or digital map stored on the device whether they are on the right route.
With AR Bearing Compass, users can find their way even if GPS signals are blocked.
AR Bearing Compass is available for free on Google Play.
Users can upgrade seamlessly using In App Billing to the Pro version to get additional features, such as elevation display, true north indication, geolocated snapshots with Augmented Reality overlay.
