RE/MAX Platinum Realty, a luxury real estate brokerage with five offices in Sarasota and Manatee counties, has opened a Global New Homes Division. The division will provide international sales support to builders and developers, starting with those in the Sarasota, Bradenton and Venice market.
“We will leverage the global RE/MAX broker network to develop our own relationships and create a proprietary network of brokers who will bring international clients to RE/MAX Platinum Realty,” said Broker-Owner Bryan Guentner. RE/MAX has a global reach of more than 85 countries and recently announced its expansion into China.
Builders and developers who partner with RE/MAX Platinum Realty will have access to sales associates in the five local offices, as well as the international brokers in the Global New Homes Division network. Builder and developer properties will be marketed through networking, international trade shows and active company sales efforts.
Heading the new division is Global New Homes Sales Manager Teresa Witte, who brings more than 20 years of experience in new homes sales and management. Originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil, Witte has worked for many of Florida’s top developers, including Levitt and Sons, Maronda Homes and Coscan Homes on the Florida East Coast. She opened a Coscan Homes presence in numerous Brazilian real estate brokerages, and was responsible for the high percentage of sales to South American clients at the developer’s Point of Aventura luxury condominiums.
She earned the Treasure Coast Builders Association Gold Medallion Award as the Top Sales Leader for the Tri-County area (St. Lucie, Indian River and Martin County) in 2004.
Prior to joining RE/MAX Platinum Realty, Witte was a Sales Associate for Lennar Homes, where she specialized in luxury condominium sales in the River Strand Golf and Country Club in Manatee County. She was involved in all phases of the construction process, including sales, customer service, design review, and coordination with customers and construction managers.
Witte has also conducted sales training seminars for companies such as IBM and Samsung, most recently in Brazil in 2012 for Samsung. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas in Sao Paolo, Brazil, and is completing her second bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Studies at the University of South Florida in June 2013. She is fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
Witte’s efforts will be concentrated initially in South America (Brazil, Venezuela and Colombia), Canada and the United Kingdom.
