Children can now enjoy extra soft organic cotton school uniforms.
Children spend on average over 7 hours every day wearing school uniforms. Most of them are not sweat absorbent, do not allow the skin to breathe, do not feel pleasant against the skin and are treated with harmful pesticides that can aggravate or, even spark skin conditions.
While conventional cotton is often deemed as a natural fabric, the reality is quite different. Cotton plants are very prone to pest attacks and therefore cotton crops so heavily treated with chemicals they use approximately 25% of the world’s insecticides and more than 10% of the pesticides. Wearing synthetic fabrics or even chemically treated natural fibres has been shown to aggravate these conditions.
