LuckyBolt, a new SF food/tech startup, is expanding to UCSF Mission Bay on Thursday, May 2nd. They will be launching a new pick up location on 4th St., just steps from the Koret Quad. LuckyBolt is the sustainable solution for the timestrapped individual who demands quality, variety and convenience from their daily dining routine. Every day, LuckyBolt offers a curated selection of dishes from different local eateries and directly shuttles them to select pickup locations across the city. Simply place your order online and grab your food from one of their nearby pick up stands, all without ever waiting in line. To celebrate the launch of their new location and introduce themselves to the community, LuckyBolt will be giving out free Bob’s Doughnuts each morning during opening week.
“We obsess over the quality and freshness of our food,” said Kris Schlesser, founder of LuckyBolt. “If the food isn’t at its prime when you pick it up, we simply won't serve it.”
LuckyBolt is currently offering lunch service, Monday through Friday, from favorite local eateries, including Ike’s Place, Lucca Deli and Nopalito. The menu and restaurants change every day so you can choose from the best San Francisco has to offer without being constrained to always eating the same thing.
From utilizing biodegradable packaging to featuring restaurants that support local and organic farms, sustainability is core to the mission of LuckyBolt. “We currently live under a system of agriculture that encourages waste and environmental abuse.
