Softpro, pioneer in E-Signing on tablets since more than ten years, has introduced a new service for both professional and private users to sign business documents on their mobile devices.
The new service can be accessed using the latest version of the popular E-Signing App SignDoc Mobile.
The app and the service were designed to meet the particular requirements of small and medium businesses. Many such enterprises prefer to subscribe to a professional service rather than investing in hardware, software, and own IT staff resources.
Softpros Solution for "Signing as a Service" is a cloud-based service offering maximum flexibilty while not requiring any development or integration effort.
The SignDoc Mobile app is the tablet-based client for the SOFTPRO's SignDoc Web signature platform. This server solution is typically integrated in a corporate IT infrastructure while the app itself is embedded into an organization's document workflow solution.The new service offers a typical configuration for enterprise grade E-Signing to businesses as a subscription service.
Since the initial introduction of SignDoc Mobile in the Apple, Google Play, and Samsung App Stores, Softpro has received many inquiries from companies that are looking for a trustworthy online signature service for their tablets. In particular, such businesses are looking for a service that provides the following functionality:
• Capturing signatures directly within a displayed document;
• Recording and storage of all biometric signature characteristics provided by the particular tablet leading to enhanced evidence - no "downgrade" of signature data in turning handwritten signatures into a stamp and use as some sort of decoration;
• Support for all major operating systems: iPads as well as tablets operating on Android and Windows 8 within the same organization will interchangeably work with the same E-Signing Solution;
• Integrity of signed documents can be validated with Adobe Reader. Hence PDFs are signed according to ISO standard;
• Easy connection with popular cloud storage services (i.e. Dropbox, Box.net, Sugarsync), signing solution independent of one particular document archive provider;
SignDoc Mobile fulfills all of these requirements and more. Note that when using the app in the standard free mode, signed documents contain a promotional insert, but is otherwise fully functional.
SignDoc Mobile Pro Version
As of the just launched version 2.0, SignDoc Mobile comes with an optional "Pro Service". Subscribers of this service can sign documents without any promotional insert. Additionally, the signature field may be configured individually for auto-insertion of
• a pre-defined signer name underneath the signature;
• a text indicating the exact time and date of signing ("time stamp").
Additional features of this "Pro Service" will be provided in upcoming releases of SignDoc Mobile.
For some organizations it is also relevant that the servers for "Signing as a Service" are operated in the EU, hence in compliance to the relatively strict European laws for privacy and data protection.

Coming soon: Version for Windows 8
The lates version of SignDoc Mobile is available for iPad and Android Tablets now. The Pro Version mode is activated when subscribing to the "Pro Service". The minimum subscription time is one month.
Access to the subscription is provided via the product entry of SignDoc Mobile in the Apple App Store for iPads or Samsung Apps Marketplace for Android Tablets. The new version for Android devices will be available via Google Play soon as well.
A new version of SignDoc Mobile for tablets running on Windows 8 will be released soon.
