Halkyn Consulting announced that its Security Director, Taz Wake, has become a member of the technical committee that will develop the ANSI standards for assessment of risk. The standard will provide a basis for the process of conducting a successful, well-organized and documented risk assessment.

The technical standards committee brings together experts in the field to consider how successful risk assessment programmes should be developed and to advise on how conduct risk assessments so that their effectiveness can be analysed objectively.

“This will be a great opportunity to contribute to the development of clear international standards in an area that is crucial to business but is often neglected," Taz said.
