Long-time senior executive Robert Noe has joined iControl as division president, effective January 14, 2013. Noe, who served as Chairman and CEO of viaLink for 6 years until 2005, then 4 years as CEO of 1Sync and Chief Customer Officer of GS1, has been leading the Consumer Product Goods consulting group at Teradata. He will also take a seat on iControl's board.
"I'm delighted to welcome Bob to iControl and I was extremely gratified that he was prepared to leave behind a great position with a great company at Teradata to join iControl," said iControl's Chairman and CEO Tal J. Zlotnitsky. "Bob brings a world of experience in the Retail Activity Collaboration space, which is where iControl is planting its flag. Having him at the table when we make senior management decisions, as well as at our board of directors, will make us a stronger company better able to deliver outstanding products and services for our customers."
Noe was the Chairman and CEO of viaLink from 1999 until its merger in early 2005 with Prescient, forming Prescient Applied Sciences, which he participated in orchastrating. He remained on the board of the merged entity before as he also moved on to become the CEO of 1Sync (formerly Transora) and Chief Customer Officer at GS1. He spent time as a managing director at Alix Partners before joining Teradata in 2011.
