The first annual Holiday Health & Beauty Expo is being held on Veterans Day weekend, Saturday, November 10th, from 12PM to 4 PM at the Total Woman Gym & Day Spa parking lot located at 5448 Mission Center Road, San Diego, CA 92108. The Expo will provide women an opportunity to pamper themselves before the holidays and provide the public a venue to acknowledge women veterans for their dedication and service to our country.
Health is our greatest asset; however the onset of the holiday season often increases stress detracting from the enjoyment of spending it with friends and family. An afternoon of pre-holiday pampering and fun at the Holiday Health & Beauty Expo allows women to regain a sense of focus and reclaim their health as their greatest asset. A highlight of the event includes a tribute to Women in the Military and their families and a special thanks to veterans who have given their lives in service to our country, such as that of SGT. Camella Steedley, 31, who died on October 3, 2012 in Afghanistan leaving behind four small children.
Admission is open to the general public and tickets cost $3, with 100% of the proceeds from the event ticket sales being donated to The Camella Steedley Family Fund.
