AbraxSys annouced this week the release of a next-generation line of hazardous area panel pcs. These industrial grade, Class 1 Division 2 Hazardous Area certified, panel mount touch screen computers offer extensive features and are available with either NEMA 4 (IP65) or NEMA 4X (IP66) protection at the front bezel. The NEMA 4 - IP65 versions are offered with a rugged black aluminum front bezel while the NEMA 4X - IP66 models are equipped with stainless steel bezels. Both types offer excellent protection at the front bezel from the intrusion of dust, hose directed water, splashing liquids, and even weather. All models include aluminum rear enclosures and provides.
Each system can be integrated with either VIA CPUs or Intel Core 2 Duo processors. These robust systems are designed to be placed in a variety of industrial HazLoc Class 1 Division 2 environments. This harsh-duty product line has been tested by an independent agency and found to comply with the applicable requirements throughout Class I and II, Division 2 Hazardous Locations.
Extended warranty plans are also available, from 2 years (standard) up to a full six years coverage.
