Splunk, Inc., the leading provider of software for real-time operational intelligence, today announced that Splunk customers Cricket Communications and Nomura Securities will discuss the impact machine data is having on their businesses at the Gartner Symposium/ITxpo in Orlando. The session,"Nomura Securities and Cricket Communications Transform Big Data into Real-time Operational Intelligence" is scheduled for Wednesday, October 24, at 12:15 pm. ET.
The two companies will discuss how they use Splunk® software for machine data analytics in both the business and IT to improve customer service, support real-time decision-making and gain competitive advantage. Speakers will include Ty Prinkki, senior operations manager for Cricket Communications, and Brian Ross, VP of IT strategy & architecture for Nomura Securities.
