AIT Partnership Group Ltd, a leading provider of data centre and IT infrastructure services, today announced that it successfully deployed its POWERView power monitoring solution in Sentrum Colo’s Hayes facility. AIT worked closely with Sentrum Colo, its lead customer, to develop a power monitoring solution to report and manage customer power usage within its co-location facilities.
POWERView is specifically designed to monitor customer power usage within a co-location facility. Able to report a variety of metrics (including A, kW, kVA, kWh) it allows co-location companies to observe power used by individual customers and be alerted when pre-set alarm conditions are breached, such as power failure. End customers may also log-in via a secure web interface to check on their power usage and generate appropriate management reports.

A vendor independent power monitoring solution, POWERView integrates with existing branch circuit monitoring equipment, such as Schneider, using Modbus over IP or SNMP interfaces (among others), or use its own independent branch circuit monitoring/intelligent power strip infrastructure.
