This summer Colorado Wich, LLC, d/b/a Which Wich Superior Sandwiches, has partnered with two Colorado outdoor organizations, Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC) and Colorado Mountain Club (CMC), to offer volunteer time and donations to help keep Colorado beautiful and Coloradoans active. Additionally, the award-winning sandwich restaurant’s highly popular Which Peak program is showcasing thousands of hikers that summit mountains above 14,000 feet (known as “Fourteeners”) across Colorado and the globe.
“Colorado has been good to us and it’s important that we make a positive difference in our community,” said Jeff Gordan, Chief Financial Officer and founder of Colorado Wich. “We are passionate about the outdoors which is why we launched our Which Peak program five years ago. We’ve had thousands of Which Wich fans climb their favorite Fourteener and get a free sandwich for taking a photo on top with our famous brown bag.”
As part of Which Wich’s commitment to the outdoors, the Colorado restaurant chain has supported the statewide nonprofit, Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado, for the past two years. Which Wich donated food for volunteers on trail restoration projects at Summit Lake Park in Idaho Springs and Roxborough State Park in Littleton. Additionally, in August, Which Wich is donating a portion of its revenue to the organization.
On September 8-9, 2012 Which Wich will be an integral partner of the Colorado Mountain Club’s Centennial celebration where the club will organize and lead climbs of Colorado’s 54 Fourteeners all in one day, weather permitting. Which Wich will be sponsoring the 100th birthday event as well as donating sandwiches and chips for the September 9th party.
Which Wich Superior Sandwiches offer more than fifty varieties of customizable “wiches,” ranging from the signature Wicked®, loaded with five meats (turkey, ham, roast beef, pepperoni and bacon) and three cheeses, to unique items such as Thank You Turkey®, with stuffing and cranberry sauce. The Which Wich menu also includes vegetarian options and several healthy “wiches” each with 400 calories or less. Diners can also enjoy Which Wich’s tasty signature house chips, real ice cream shakes and just-out-of-the-oven cookies.
Colorado customers can receive a free sandwich via the restaurant’s Which Peak promotion. Guests that hike a Fourteener mountain and take a photo with the famous Which Wich brown bag next to the signpost can bring the photo into a local Which Wich and receive a free sandwich as well as an opportunity to share their picture on the restaurant photo board. Which Wich has received thousands of photos since the promotion launched.
