This rating is given following extensive review and evaluation by AAA inspectors. The criteria stated by AAA for a Four Diamond rating identifies the property as “refined and stylish with upscale physical attributes.” Other criteria include “an extensive array of amenities, combined with a high degree of hospitality, service and attention to detail.”

The Hilton President was first open in 1926 and quickly became a Kansas City landmark. It re-opened in January 2006 following a $45 million restoration performed to exacting specifications and maintains its listing in the National Register of Historic Places. Today, it is again an elegant landmark in the heart of the booming Kansas City renaissance. It is the only hotel in the Power & Light Entertainment District, and is steps away from Sprint Center, Midland Theater and AMC movie complex.
