The JetStor 724HSD RAID management software simplifies deployment and administration of hybrid iSCSI storage through a single unified view, enabling dynamic provisioning to each application appropriate to its connectivity requirements. Administrators can now implement comprehensive volume-level data protection for both 10Gb and/or 1Gb iSCSI SANs through writeable snapshots, Windows VSS support, JetStor Replica remote replication and volume cloning.
JetStor 724HSD Hybrid RAID systems support up to 72TB in just 4U with 24 dual-ported SAS/SATA/SSD bays. Dual-path 6Gb/s SAS expansion ports enable plug-and-play storage growth to 216TB in 12U with inexpensive 24bay JBOD units. A green footprint is maintained through OOB staggered drive spin-up, auto disk spin-down, intelligent fan and thermal management, and 80 PLUS energy-efficient power supplies.
Outstanding performance is delivered through Intel Xeon 64-bit processors, parity-assist ASICs, iSCSI-assist and TCP offload engines, and four to eight GB of cache, for maximum bandwidth to two 10Gb/s and two 1Gb/s iSCSI ports per redundant controller. High-availability features including a fully cableless and redundant/fail-over design, dual redundant RAID controllers in the JetStor 724HSD, RAID 6 & 60 with advanced data protection, multi-path support and modular components for a short mean-time-to-repair (MTTR).
Both models JetStor 724HS and JetStor HSD have been certified by VMware and are listed on VMware Hardware Compatibility List.
