IMS Intelligence Version 10 will improve the efficiency of Warwickshire Police staff due to a more intuitive user interface, improved workflow functionality, contextual searching and better system performance.
Jackie Whordley, manager of Protective Services Systems at Warwickshire Police, said that her staff are pleased with the upgraded system: “Our users are working well with the new system – they like the new look and feel and are benefiting from the new workflow functions. The computer-based training has gone smoothly and users are finding the transition to the new system trouble-free. The upgrade project ran relatively smoothly, with the ABM staff working on the project providing dedicated support and assistance throughout ”.
Warwickshire Police has been using IMS Intelligence since 2001 and has continued to work with ABM over the last eleven years to ensure that the system continues to meet their requirements. The latest upgrade delivers a number of improvements including functional changes like improved task management and embedded nominal photographs. Another new feature is contextual searching which allows users to perform advanced searches relating to investigations, improving the ability of staff to identify important connections. The performance of the system is also improved thanks to support for the latest hardware.
IMS Intelligence helps a number of police forces in the United Kingdom to record and manage intelligence in compliance with relevant legislation and best practice. The software is an important tool in the fight against crime, helping forces like Warwickshire Police protect our communities from harm.
