AndroidPIT, the Berlin-based Android online platform, has just clocked in over 1 million registered users, making it the largest independent Android online platform in the world. Within just two years since its initial launch as an Android blog and forum in 2009, AndroidPIT has exhibited tremendous growth, going from 1.5 million unique visitors in March 2011 to over 5 million in the span of a year. Having started out as a German-language website for Android fans, AndroidPIT has rapidly expanded to encompass five additional languages: English, Spanish, Russian, French and Portuguese.
