Lumitec, a leading designer and manufacturer of marine LED lighting solutions, announces the debut of their two newest flood lights: the Caprera2 cockpit flood light and the Capri2 flush mount cockpit flood light.
The Caprera2 and the Capri2 are extensions of the top selling Caprera and Capri line. They are the industry’s first dual color flood lights and offer twice the usable output of their predecessors and up to four times greater output than other lights in their class. Leveraging Lumitec’s proprietary Timed Toggle Protocol, both lights offer dimming and color-changing capabilities. Users can choose from Blue & White or Red & White output using a standard 2-wire connection and any ordinary on/off switch.
The Caprera2 and the Capri2 also utilize Lumitec’s proprietary DeckSweep Optical System. DeckSweep is a radially asymmetrical beam that places light where it’s needed most; illuminating to port and starboard while eliminating dark spots. The technology was originally developed for use in Lumitec’s high powered Maxillume flood lights, which are widely used by large sport yachts, sport fishermen, and military boat builders. In the Caprera2 and the Capri2, DeckSweep offers the smaller boat owner greater usable light output with low current draw.
