BMC’s 2012 squad is a virtual who’s who of the world’s top professionals: 2011 Tour de France Champion Cadel Evans, 2011 TdF stage winner and 2010 world champion Thor Hushovd, multiple classics and TdF stage winner Phillip Gilbert, as well as rising American stars Taylor Phinney and Tejay van Garderen plus perennial Paris-Roubaix contender and fan favorite George Hincapie. From one-day monuments to the biggest 3-week Grand Tours, BMC Racing Team and Easton Cycling will be feared contenders for the win.
”During our long partnership, we’ve relied on Easton’s commitment to engineering and product development,” said the team’s General Manager Gavin Chilcott. “We’ve seen great success together and look forward to many more wins at the biggest races, from the spring classics to the Tour de France to American races like Tour of California and Pro Cycling Challenge. With Easton Cycling’s technical prowess, our team members are at an advantage every time we pin a number on.”
“BMC Racing is the fastest-growing and most progressive professional team in the world, and we know Easton wheels and components deliver the performance they demand,” said Chuck Platt, Senior Sports Marketing Manager. “We’re excited to see what they can do with our products and anticipate their ongoing feedback, which will benefit everyone from top pros to weekend racers who choose Easton.”
