Ambitious start-up Karolo.com aims to help home owners sell their unwanted furniture, promote small businesses and create a dedicated community of furniture enthusiasts.
From their base in Cardiff, Karolo Design have put their skills to the test and launched their very own dedicated furniture marketplace. By combining the benefits of social networking and online auctions, Karolo aim to help users sell not only their furniture but their business, skills and expertise.

Aware of the increasing number of generic listing websites, Karolo have chosen to differentiate themselves by focusing only on furniture. By offering user profiles, blogging tools and the ability to sell products via auction or instant purchase, Karolo are looking to give businesses an alternative to purchasing their own e-commerce website.
Coupled with their desire to help small businesses across the UK’s furniture industry, Karolo are also keen to promote the idea of furniture reuse. “Over 10 million items of furniture are sent to landfill every year; a shocking statistic and one that helped form the idea for Karolo.
