On January 30, 2012, LRQA Americas Sustainability, Inc., one of the longest standing greenhouse gas verification bodies in the United States, will team with Southern California Edison at the 15th annual EUEC Energy, Utility and Environmental Conference in Phoenix, Arizona.
During the conference, DeAnn Sarver, Vice President, LRQA Americas Sustainability, Inc. and Evan Birenahum, Program Manager – Environmental and Resource Sustainability, Southern California Edison (SCE) will jointly deliver a session on how to ensure sustainability management systems are designed to improve performance and reduce risk. In addition, the session will offer tips on how to prepare the system for third-party assurance. SCE will also discuss its own experience undergoing ‘pre-assurance assessment’ and will provide practical examples of best practice for the development of sustainability management systems.
The EUEC conference is expected to draw over eighteen-hundred environmental business leaders, executives, NGOs and sustainability experts from many of the world’s leading companies who are looking to share best-practices in environmental management, clean renewable and alternate energy solutions, and energy management.
